DUBAI AND JORDAN BASIC 10 DAYS – 09 NIGHTS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

ITINERARY

DAY 1: DUBAI

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the chosen hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 2: DUBAI – HALF DAY CLASSIC DUBAI CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet in the lobby of your hotel for the panoramic tour that allows us to get to know the most developed city on the planet, the city of tomorrow, where there are incomparable construction projects. We will start with a panoramic stop at the Burj Al Arab, the 7-star hotel, where we will have the opportunity to take some photographs. Next, we will head to the Jumeirah Mosque, a blend of Ottoman and Arab art.

We will continue the tour by visiting the traditional Bastakya neighborhood, a journey through the past with its wind towers where the first natural air conditioning is located, the Coffee Museum, and its art galleries. Afterward, we will pass by the fabric market where we can observe and buy an endless selection of silks, cotton, and embroidered fabrics. You will surely find the exact impression and color you are looking for among the hundreds of fabric rolls.

We will continue with a trip on an "Abra" (water taxi) crossing the Creek and experience the exotic aromas of the Spice Souk, marveling at the brilliance of the world's largest Gold Souk. We will end the tour at Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa (OPTIONAL: VISIT TO THE TOWER), the world's tallest tower at 828 meters. You can choose to stay at the Mall or take the return to the hotel offered at that time.

 DAY 3: DUBAI – DESERT SAFARI WITH DINNER

Breakfast at the hotel, In the afternoon, enjoy the most attractive and popular excursion... 4x4 Safari in the desert and dinner: Enjoy the desert and experience an authentic adventure with the Safari excursion with dinner. We will pick you up from your hotel in a 4x4 vehicle and take you directly to the heart of the desert. In about an hour, we will arrive and you will see how the color of the sand changes to a more reddish hue. Then we will leave the road to enter the desert, where they will deflate the tire pressure to about one and a half kilos, when initially they had four. You can dress in traditional costumes or try the typical freshly made Arab sweets. Also, you can get henna tattoos and we will learn the important role that falcons have in local life and smoke a water pipe (shisha) in their designated area.

We will enjoy a buffet dinner, outdoors under the stars. Different types of grilled meat are accompanied by a variety of appetizers, salads, and typical sweets from the region. After dinner, we will attend a show, where a Tanoura dancer rotates around himself, without stopping for almost twenty minutes. Also, a belly dancer will shake her body to the rhythm of Arabic music. Once this almost hour-long show is over, we will take you back to your hotel in Dubai. Accommodation.

 DAY 4: DUBAI - ABU DHABI 

Breakfast. Visit Abu Dhabi with an English-speaking guide. 2-hour tour from Dubai, passing by Jebel Ali port, the largest man-made port in the world, to the capital of the UAE. Visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the third largest in the world, as well as his tomb. We will continue to the Al Maqta bridge passing through one of the wealthiest areas of Abu Dhabi, the minister's area. Arrival at Corniche Street, which is compared to Manhattan for its skyline. International buffet lunch at a 5* hotel restaurant.

Photo stop at the Emirates Palace Hotel. We continue to the Al Bateen area, where the palaces of the Royal Family are located. Then we will make a stop at the Heritage Village, a reconstruction of a traditional oasis village that offers an interesting insight into the emirate's past. Traditional aspects of desert life, including a campfire with coffee pots, a goat hair tent, and a falaj irrigation system, are attractively displayed in the open-air museum. Finally, on the way back to Dubai, we pass Ferrari Park (entrance not included) for photos or shopping (20 minutes). Return to Dubai and accommodation.

DAY 5: DUBAI – DHOW CRUISE AT THE CREEK

Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning & afternoon to do optional activities according to the passenger's preferences such as visiting the emirate CAPITAL CULTURAL SHARJAH which can be combined with a visit to the Dubai Frame, or to one of the attractive water parks AQUAVENTURE OF THE ATLANTIS HOTEL IN PALM JUMEIRAH, a great variety of possibilities to discover the wonders of this region.

In the afternoon at the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your Dubai hotel and taken to the Dubai Creek area, right in the heart of the city. In this traditional area, you will board the wooden Arab dhow, where you will take a night cruise. A wonderful experience to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Dubai Creek and have a beautiful view of the illuminated city, while we sail around the abras (water taxis). Dubai's main monuments will guard your route giving you a glimpse into the city's past and future. In the traditional wooden Arab dhow, converted into a floating restaurant, you will enjoy a buffet dinner during the cruise. Dinner will be made up of local food such as hummus and moutabel. You can continue with pasta, chicken, beef, lamb and fish as main dishes. Finishing with a flan, cake and/or fruit, including water, coffee and tea. After the cruise ends, you will be taken back to your hotel in Dubai.

DAY 06:  DUBAI – ARRIVAL IN AMMAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Amman.

Arrival in Amman. Meeting and assistance at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 07: AMMAN - AJLUN - JERASH - DEAD SEA - AMMAN

Breakfast and departure for a visit to Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. It is a castle from the time of the Crusaders, located on top of the mountain and offering a beautiful view. Continue to visit Jerash, one of the cities of the Decapolis. Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km and an hour away by road.

During the excursion, we will visit the Arch of Triumph, the oval plaza, the cardo, the colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite, and finally, the Roman theater, known for its wonderful acoustics. The preservation of the ruins of Jerash still surprises today, providing a very accurate idea of what cities were like at that time. Transfer to Amman for free lunch, then transfer to the Dead Sea. Free time for swimming and mud baths, at the end of the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 08: AMMAN – PANORAMIC CITY TOUR – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – UMM AR RASAS – PETRA

Meet at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of the city of Amman. Continuing to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continuing to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. In the afternoon, continue to visit the ruins of Umm ar Rasas. Transfer to Petra. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 09: LITTLE PETRA – PETRA – AMMAN (or AQABA with supplement of 145 USD/pax, minimum 2 PAX)

Breakfast, and departure to the nearby town of Al Beida, also known as Little Petra. Visit of this caravanserai. Then, a full day dedicated to the visit of the pink city, the capital of the Nabateans. During the visit, we will get to know the most important and representative monuments carved in the rock by the Nabateans. We start with The Treasury, a famous and internationally known monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, the Colorful Tombs, the Royal Tombs, the Monastery... Petra is one of those places in the world that you must visit at least once in a lifetime. At the end of the visit, we return to Amman. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 10: AMMAN OR AQABA - DEPARTURE

Breakfast. Transfer to Amman Airport, Aqaba or Aqaba Port.
