Al Ain, literally "The Spring", 130 km. from Dubai, is one of the largest cities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, bordering Oman. Known as “The Garden City”.
You can see during the journey to this city by road, the desert of Al Ain and some camel farms.
We will leave Dubai and in an hour we will find ourselves in Al Ain, in an Oasis that will captivate us. We will walk among its hundred thousand date palms, we will collect and taste its fruits and we will also know its old irrigation system, called Al Falj, the largest Oasis in the city, to understand the importance of water and how they channeled it.
Museum “Al Ain Palace” where the first founder of the country lived and where we can learn about the history of this city, since the Bedouins of the Bani Yas tribe settled for the first time.
Camel Market. A very curious visit, where we will see camels of all ages. We will learn first-hand from the vendors, the prices that these animals, which are so important to the local culture, reach in the market, being able to pay up to $10,000 for one destined for racing. Other animals such as rams are also for sale. Camels are an essential part of all the United Arab Emirates. For this reason, there are many camel farms, and camel racing is a fascinating spectacle.
After the well-deserved rest, we will set off towards the highest mountain in the country, with 1240 m., located on the border with Oman. The gardens of Almubazara and ending our visit in the mineral springs, rich in phosphorus, with well-known health properties.
